Where exactly are we now?

If you go to Google Maps and type in Madhuvan, Costa Rica, you can see a dot in the mountains between Nicoya and Playa Samara. It might look like there isn't a road leading to the dot, but we can now happily state that there indeed is one, and bicycles can be pedaled, or pushed, or dragged through it to reach a small Hindu monastery. Students of bhakti yoga teacher Swami B.V. Tripurari live in Madhuvan together with three horses, five cows, two dogs, one cat and a large amount of lizards and monkeys. The monastery is nearly self-sufficient, as the organic gardens are giving ample crops of beans, rice, vegetables and fruit. This far they haven't been able to grow all their spices, but we're confident that in the future they'll do that, too. The days are filled with practical work in the kitchen, cow pen and gardens, as well as spiritual practise. We'll be staying here for a few days and gathering more strength for the upcoming days of cycling, but please stay tuned for more updates about life in the jungle!
