After all the sweaty hills of yesterday we were constantly waiting for the road to take a sharp turn towards the mountains and the slow, tedious pushing to begin, but miraculously the beautiful, low pastures and fields continued all day long and the kilometers just flew by.
We saw some trees that we thought might be coffee, some that we thought might be bananas, and some that we thought might be oranges. A large, striped lizard ran accross the road, a real cowboy galloped on a cute horse with brown spots and an oxcart traveled slowly on the roadside. Such gorgeous and exciting views, and so much easier to enjoy them when you're pedaling instead of walking!
